About
Operators first.
Ruh Industries LLC is an executive advisory practice built on a plain observation: most growing companies do not have a strategy problem. They have an execution problem that nobody senior enough has had the time to solve.
How we work
We work the way an internal executive works: inside your systems, in your meetings, accountable to your numbers. We are not producing a recommendation and leaving. We are standing up the forecast, running the close, renegotiating the contract, and then teaching your team to run it without us.
Who we work with
Startup through lower-mid-market companies in retail, technology, and transportation: past the founding stage, growing faster than their back office, and either not ready or not yet able to hire a full-time CFO, COO, or Chief Supply Chain Officer.
Who You Are Working With
Ben Ruh
Founder and Principal, Ruh Industries LLC
Ben Ruh is a finance and operations executive with over fifteen years across industry and consulting, building the financial and operational infrastructure that growing companies need and rarely have. He has worked at Deloitte Consulting LLP, Nike, W. L. Gore & Associates, and NMG Aerospace.
He held a senior finance and operations executive role for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games across a twenty-two month engagement, reporting to the client CFO and owning spend strategy and negotiations across marketing, infrastructure, and corporate budgets. He then owned budget allocation and contracting for the FIFA World Cup 26 in Kansas City, leading a team of six and reporting directly to the client CFO across a multi-city, multi-venue build on fixed deadlines.
For more than a year he led AI strategy for a vertical of Deloitte Consulting’s Supply Chain and Network Operations practice, directing enterprise AI use-case assessment and prioritization, quantifying the business cases, and defining the operating model, data foundation, and governance required to take AI past pilot. He has also led post-acquisition integrations, scoping and capturing $30M to $45M in identified synergy value.
That is the through line. Budgetary allocation, cash flow management, and sourcing awards are financial decisions that happen to sit in an operations org: inventory impacts working capital, contract terms impact cash flow, and category strategy impacts margin. Work of this kind has also produced double-digit category savings and enterprise system transformations on common platforms.
Ruh Industries exists because the clients we have worked with who most need this kind of leadership and strategy are typically the clients who cannot yet justify the budget and hiring for full-time coverage.
